Already designed and built as a modern family home, Meraki were brought in to better the interior layout as well as selecting finishes and furniture for throughout the property.

Aesthetic Direction

A clear, contemporary design language that would produce a clean, minimal aesthetic with warmth channelled via carefully chosen earthy materials.

Material & Colour Palette

A combination of large format ceramic tiles with natural timber slats on key architectural features such as the balustrade alongside polished marble for the kitchen counter make for a harmonious material and colour palette that’s serenely and softly spoken.

Noteworthy Features

Throughout this property, Meraki collaborated with local artisans and suppliers for all its furniture and lighting procurement, accenting every room with trinkets and objects from across Africa
